Are you a frequent traveler? Knowing the ins and outs of visas is crucial for seamless travel experiences. Indonesian visas come in two main types: Single Entry and Multiple Entry. Let’s explore the differences between them and what activities each type permits.

This visa allows you to enter Indonesia once during its validity period. Activities permitted under this visa include:

- Business meetings

- Attending seminars or meetings

- Taking part in short-term training or courses

- Journalistic activities, and more.

Multiple Entry Visit Visa (Index D212)

With a multiple entry visa, you can enter Indonesia multiple times within a year. Activities permitted include:

Validity Period and Extensions

For Single Entry Visas (B211A, B211B, B211C), the initial validity period is 60 days from arrival, extendable up to two times with each extension granting an additional 60 days of stay. The visa status can be converted to a limited stay permit (ITAS).

Multiple Entry Visas (D212) have a validity period of one year, with a stay of up to 60 days per visit, and cannot be extended.
