Work Visa
The process of Indonesia work permit application

1. Document preparation


  • First page of passport (electronic version, need to be clear, passport valid for 18 months), original followed
  • Id photo (electronic version 2 inches, red background, collared shirt), guarantor ID card and personal photo
  • International Travel Health Certificate (electronic version, required to be clear, vaccination certificate required) - currently cancelled
  • Indonesia Accommodation address, work place
  • Occupation and position
  • Graduation certificate


(Need to provide salary information, generally 1200-1500 US dollars, for tax purposes)

2. RPTKA - Application for employment of foreign workers




3. DKPTKA&IMTA- Labour Commission Development Fund


(1200 USD, to be paid separately by the company)

4. E-visa non-tax country Income - $150


(This process is required for the new work visa, which will be entered into Indonesia 90 days after the visa issue, and the enterprise needs to pay separately)

5. After the visa comes out, you must enter the country within three months, otherwise the E-visa expires




6. Limited Residence Permit (required to enter Indonesia to take photos)


If you are applying for a new visa or transfer, you need to submit your passport to the Indonesian service provider within one week after entering the country, if you are applying for a new visa, you need to hand in your passport to be stamped by the immigration office, and visit the Immigration Office in person to take photos and fingerprints.

If photos and fingerprints have been successfully entered into the system at the airport, there is no need to stamp and take photos again after entry.

7. Passport must be submitted within 30 days of arrival, if not submitted, there is a 1M/ day fine (if fingerprints and photos are not entered into the system when entering the airport)


After you enter the country, there will be an immigration hall at the airport to take photos; Whether the photo is successfully taken depends on whether it is successfully entered into the system. If it is not successful, you need to take photos at the immigration Hall after entering the country.
