The Directorate General of Immigration (DGI) has reintroduced the Multiple-Entry Visa service through Circular Letter Number IMI-0783.GR.01.01 of 2022, effective from Monday, November 28, 2022. This Multiple-Entry Visitor Visa (VKBP) allows foreigners to enter Indonesia multiple times within one year without needing to reapply for a new visa. Each visit permits a stay of up to 60 days.
This policy is designed to facilitate foreign businesspeople, tourists, and others who frequently travel to and from Indonesia, particularly to the Riau Islands. By simplifying the visa process, it aims to boost tourism and business activities in the region.
A multiple entry visa allows holders to enter and exit a country multiple times without resubmitting documentation until the visa's validity expires.
To apply for a Multiple Entry Visit Visa, applicants must provide:
1. Application letters and guarantees
2. Passport with at least 18 months validity
3. Return ticket or onward journey ticket
4. Bank statement with a minimum balance of $2000
5. Proof of permanent residence in Singapore
6. Recent color passport photo with a white background
1. Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination
2. Proof of health or travel insurance that covers health expenses
3. Statement agreeing to comply with all health protocols in Indonesia
The Multiple Entry Visit Visa costs IDR 3,000,000 per person per year. It allows a stay of up to 60 days per visit, with a maximum of six visits per year. The visa cannot be extended.
