Employment Contracts in Ghana

Dismissal and Severance in Ghana


In Ghana, employees with contracts of no more than three years are legally entitled to receive two weeks’ notice before termination. Those with contracts longer than three years are entitled to one month's notice.

Some contracts contain specific provisions that waive notice of termination.
